Being a Drug Designer for Two Days
Deze masterclass bestaat uit 2 dagen
For many diseases, such as cancer and Alzheimer´s disease, there is clearly a need for new and better drugs. In this masterclass resistance of bacteria to antibiotic drugs is taken as yet another example for which new drugs are required.
By joining this masterclass, you will experience many of the steps that are involved in multidisciplinary drug research, including the opportunity to work in the lab to modify and test an existing antibiotic. In addition, you will meet students, teachers and researchers from the university in a pleasant and interactive programme.
The masterclass will be partly presented in English, but participants can use Dutch during the discussions.
